- Sketch7936 years agoSeasoned AceBest guess: because developers don't think the same way players do.
- DragonAge_3009056 years agoSeasoned AceIt was the planter. The vertical planters don't count in the garden aspiration, including planting, watering, fertializing, etc.
- well that sucks:(
- if it wants you to plant something and your planting something it shouldnt matter where your planting it
- cornflake896 years agoRising AceAlso found with the freelance botanist aspiration that if your environment is green you cannot complete part 2 to evolve 5 plants. My sim planted several different plants at stage normal and the next day they were perfect. :o

If you take your sim to another lot or play a different household your plants should reset to normal. Mine did this, then I had to keep my sim on her lot until I could evolve them ( kinda like the 20 day vampire thing ). It's really hard to to keep them home with all the stuff you might want to do at community lots. It could take forever if you have to get them to perfect. - another question i havent found this out yet but can you splice cuttings to plants in the planter?

My sims live in Willow Creek with green eco footprint. I planted 3 growfruit in the morning, quality normal. Went out for the day, came back and they were excellent quality though not even sprouted. The next morning they were still excellent. Went out once again, came back and they had sprouted at perfect quality. - cornflake896 years agoRising Ace

The take cutting option doesn't appear for plants in the vertical planter.
