@bshag4lv I'm confused, the mod doesn't mention anything about plant reverting.
There was a post on a thread like this one, about the gardening glitch and this was the recommended solution. I have many LittleMsSam mods, so I dl'ed this one and it worked. No, I didn't see anything about that particular action, but it does work. Sorry for the confusion. :)
Oh ok, interesting. "elanorbreton;c-17922148" wrote:
That's bizarre. How could they think it is fixed if it isn't? Are you all playing existing saves? Has anyone tried it in a new save?
It's not a fix if it doesn't fix existing saves. Why should people make new saves to fix a bug?- SheriSimSeasoned Hotshot

Does this happen in existing saves? Because often fixes only work on new saves and not retroactively on saves that already have that particular bug. They usually mention it in the patch notes though.
I see this a lot that fixes don't work in existing saves. Do they eventually get fixed in the existing saves as well cause I have been playing the same save for two years now and I don't want to start over.
I’ve been playing the same save and updating it with save as since 2014….. I’m afraid to play my sims who garden. I sure as heck hope they fix it for existing saves. I don’t use mods or custom content, so I hope they fix it, my main sim lives on her gardening ( in a greenhouse ). - The Money Tree takes 7 days ??

I have been checking this out in my many save games.
The only times my plants "revert" as your calling it, are.
When they are out of Season, I am guessing Maxis did this so the plant you put all your hard work into didn't die like in real life.
When you move a plant from one location to another or put it in your inventory, re-potting often kills plants in real life.
When you play another lot from the same save, thus missing the daily routine of plant care.
I have never had all of my plants revert at the same time, I may just be lucky.
If you want constant harvests, put your plants in a greenhouse.
If your plants are reverting at the change of Seasons, check and see, they are probably out of season, and are supposed to be dormant.
The bees are dormant in winter.
I don't know how many of you are gardener's, but in real life it is frustrating and heartbreaking when all your hard work has been demolished by a couple of possums overnight or eaten by insects. And don't get me started on what Cockatoo's do to your passion fruit vines. :)
I've never had all my plants revert either, just the ones out of season. My money tree and other trees have yet to revert other than my coconut tree (and it's fall in my game so it's out of season). I've also had other out of season plants revert, but when they're back in season they're fully grown and ready for harvesting (like my carrot plant). I even put my plants in inventory because my Sims moved to a new lot, and everything was fine.
And this is why it's so hard to fix bugs -- not everyone experiences them, or some might only occasionally experience them. :|- This is why I always save the game before harvesting from my Money Trees.
- Haven’t checked mine recently, but this has happened to me before. On more than one occasion, I restarted my game and the plants started growing again or appear fully grown again. If I kept playing, they would just stay in a just planted state. So until they really fix this, try restarting your game; it can’t hurt.

Totally agree, we should not have to make a new save and lose all out progress or take weeks transferring current sims and Lots into a new save. I was just wondering why the devs thought they had fixed the issue when people are still having a problem, but maybe they only tested it on new saves. - Mine only revert when they are out of season. It's quite convenient.
- best thing to do is to hire a gardner. Get the reward trait for free services if you are concerned about costs. I always cheat and give my sims 25,000 reward points so I can purchase whatever reward traits I want. Also install sprinklers and upgrade them. With the gardner and sprinklers you don't have to water the plants yourself nor weed them. The plants only revert when you water them not when a NPC waters them. then you can harvest and evolve plants with no issues.
