I've been using the platforms and there are some serious issues i've noticed, especially in apartments like San Myshuno:
You place a platform down in one of the apartments and then attempt to move the platform around and the outer walls of the apartment shift along with the platform! meaning you can expand the walls out beyond their original position.
In some cases around platforms there are gaps in the foundation that are invisible and you can see through the bottom, it is also the same if you have a platform near a door that is connected to a corner, you have a small gap you can peek through.
When raising a platform, the wall counters don't adjust properly to the ceiling height, especially on small walls.
Platforms should not be allowed to be raised beyond a certain height based on the wall height, that is to make sure teenagers, adults and elders can travel along those raised areas.
Ladders need a looking into around platforms, specifically within the 1 meter height requirement.
Hm, sounds like a few glitches. But I also think many of us see this as an optional tool to play around with, and that we should consider good and bad effects as we move along. Handle with care. I never save platform adjustment before I check floors above and below, as well as approaching rooms.
I also learned that it might be more effective avoiding using the platform tool, but rather draw a room, and rise/lower the floor within that room. Most times walls and objects will not get deleted by doing it that way, unless they are reached by the platform, such as a window resting directly on the floor.
