I've seen IT. And I exit without saving, lol. IT only works with plants that bear fruit (an apple tree in my case), that's why I had missed IT so far. The non fruit bearing plants were save.
On a sidenote, to make sure I'd see what there was to see I moved my infected sim to my large rooftop farm in San Myshuno. He arrived at 6 am and transformed at 1 am the following day :)
