Playing while avoiding the ageing bug is very anxiety inducing

So after a few Simless days (ever since the patch introduced this "ageing in CAS" bug) I decided to throw caution to the wind and just play my game, and avoid going into CAS. Even though I don't need ...

Sorry I'm late to this news - Is this bug only affected CAS? I can go a few days without tweaking my new Sims outfits but I was JUST about to build a new addition to the house. I've only got two human Sims but I don't want to risk aging them up
