Yeah that is so sad. I feel bad for SimguruNinja but also all of the Simgurus who pour months into planning and developing DLC for this game only to be brutally criticized for everything they do. Simgurus probably aren't paid to engage on social media but they've been doing it since the early days of the Sims 4. Moreso than any other game in the franchise. Not having snow or all the seasons in 1 world is not a dealbreaker for most simmers and people always have the choice to refuse to purchase the game. I personally did not preorder the game to watch for Gamechangers early access to hear about bugs and things that weren't mentioned in the livestream or trailer. Snow is not a deal breaker for me, I can take my sims to Mt. Komo or another world where all seasons are enabled. Just like Sulani has permanent Summer, Ravenwood is in a permanent Fall. It works for the lore/story that they want. It was an intentional design and they explained it before the pack released that they wanted the world to be "stuck" between life and death.
Consumers always have a choice; you can not buy it, wait for a sale, see if a modder adds seasons, or if it gets patched in one day. But attacking another person on the internet until they disable their account is just a set back for the community. Simmers want our feedback to be heard and implemented but we are shutting down lines of communication by being a toxic community. Developers will be even less plugged in to hear us when they're leaving platforms or choosing not to interact.
