- atreya33Seasoned AceThese are the outfits I am talking about.

This outfit shows up 3 times because of the attached turbans. Why you can't choose the colours of the turbans separately from the outfits and we don't have them separately to be used with other outfits.

This veil could have been separated, even if this meant some clipping could occur. Especially because there is no separate long veil for sims. (well there is one with a head scarf, but not with just a long veil) - crocobauraSeasoned AceI want those shoes as separate too. That dress, if not for the bare tummy, could have been used as a western style wedding dress with a white swatch.
- I would like the option to separate pieces as well. It would give greater choice!
- FanphoriaNew SpectatorCompletely agree, and I would add that having hats and hairpieces attached only to specific hairstyles is also rather frustrating. There are many examples, but biggest for me the lei flower crown from Island Living, which is only available as one specific hairstyle--not only that, but the hairstyle it's attached to is much more on the straight side of wavy, which my means any sim with curlier or more textured hair has to essentially "straighten" their hair in order to wear the crown. I made a sim based on Disney's Moana and I wanted to use the crown for her formalwear, but she just didn't look right with that hair at all.

I would've much preferred to take the crown, select the color I wanted for the outfit, and put it onto the ahir I had already selected for her. I understand that some pieces might be too integrated with certain styles, but for the larger, more distinct headpieces I don't see why that can't just be a separate item, like some of the basic bows and other decorations. Each one might not "fit" every hairstyle, but simmers can make that judgement themselves, right?
There will often be cc made to fix this type of problem, but players shouldn't need to download cc in order get basic stuff like this. - mariefoxprice83Seasoned HotshotThe thing that bothers me the most is that hair accessories have one specific colour per hair colour, and sometimes the colour in question doesn't really fit the sim.

Ohhhh that's a huge pet peeve of mine as well! I could probably handle the accessories having to be attached to that hair (for whatever reason the devs chose to do it that way), but to have ONE COLORED SWATCH for each color hair is insane! And then, it couldn't just be something neutral that you could make work, ohhhhh no .... it's neon pink or bright lime green or something else, that clashes horribly with the outfit you had picked.
So you either have to totally change the outfit to match that accessories or go back to the drawing board and find another suitable hair. - This has always driven me crazy with other games. I play FreePlay on my phone and the baby and toddler (and some for preteens through seniors) outfits are the same. I wish they would allow us to separate outfits. I have never understood this.

I think one very good reason why this was not done, is that this is ceremonial Indian garb, with a specific, culturally important need for the tummy to be bare. To alter it, on purpose, to appropriate it as a fashion choice, would display cultural insensitivity and/or disrespect. It has to have the navel exposed, or it cannot be the garment that is depicted. The good news is, there are already plenty of Western-Style Wedding dresses to choose from, in white, with navels covered.- crocobauraSeasoned Ace

I know we already have a lot of white dresses that can be used as wedding gowns, but we don't have one with a long veil. It would have taken them very little effort to make a version of this dress suitable for western weddings. - atreya33Seasoned Ace

I totally agree. We have one Eastern dress with a long veil and one Muslim headscarf with a long veil. A western option with a long veil would have been very welcome as well.
