Please remove: pear-shaped male Sim body shape

I don't agree because there are some people who use it. if you don't like it, just select a different body shape.

There is an odd tendency in the game to choose certain body types which doesn't appear to be random at all. It also happens with CC. I quickly learned that, when downloading a hairstyle, I should always use Sims 4 Studio to make sure that the hair hasn't been tagged as random. Because if it has, almost everyone in town will show up with that particular hair on their heads.

I don't know. I get the feeling that there are problems with randomization in TS4, in general. The game has randomization for clothing, skin tones, hair and such. Still, so many of the outfits roll the same and many of the Sims look alike. Also, no one bothered to make a routine that randomizes aspirations and traits. I miss the ability to roll a Sim's personality on the fly.

You misunderstand. My problem with the pear shape is that the game itself uses it upwards of 90% of the time when generating male townies. Please read a post properly before tossing out a reply :)

Sims4Studio has a batch fix to remove CC for random, and there are mods to reduce the number of townies that are generated. otherwise you can just edit the townies in CAS. before going into CAS (if you're on the PC), type ctrl+C, and a cheat bar will appear at the top left hand corner. type "testingcheats on" to turn cheats on, and then "cas.fulleditmode." then go into your households, click one to edit, and you can change their age, body type, skin color, details, everything. that way they will look the way you want.

the way I play is, every time a townie is generated, I delete them. I make my own sims, and I like to see them running around instead of some ugly generated ones, because you're right, they often look terrible. the ones I get usually have a very square, broad jaw and droopy eyes. :/

I like this body shape for variety but I agree that the game tends to generate the same body types over and over again. It's worse for female Sims though. The female Sims generated by the game are eerily similar - most have a big belly which has been dragged to its full extent, rather than naturally accumulated with the weight slider, which is annoying because it makes even very thin Sims have large stomachs. The devs do this with Sims they create too - try having Bob Pancakes lose weight, or even worse, Eric Lewis have a son who isn't as muscular, and you'll see that they don't pay much attention to how a body type looks at different points on the weight slider when they design a Sim.

What shape are we talking here? The one that makes them have a big "beer belly" but everything up top is scrawny?

How can i do not use it if i do not use it at all, but they are spammed from everywhere!???
Not only this shape.
Sims 4 have fetish for "overweight dark with arabian/indian faces and creepy clothes/hairs choice".
It doesn't look like random for me. I do not play game a lot because of this.
Else i never ever use service sims because of this.

If i will use tool "random" for male/female in CAS 70-90% of them will be overweight dark people. If press "create random" fast it will show a lot of dark fat people with 2-3type of face only clothes and hairs will change. At last in my game it be like this.

If for my sim i can do not use those not random "random" options.
How i can turn off it from those townies and service sim?

I do not think that any body shape need be removed by EA.
But i really think that we should be able to choice by our own what body/clothes/make up/hair/face/skin/eyes we do not want use for randoms, this will be fair for everyone and world will be more personal. Or if it too much, just let us turn off all randoms from game and use only our own sim.

Just go into cas and narrow the hips? Easy fix? To start becoming specific of how many sims get what body type is needlessly complicated...isnt it randomized already?

I dont think it generates this body type often, personally.

LOL the townies are always built so weird.

It's not even just the townies I get sims who age up like this and neither parent is shaped this way
