with MCCC I almost always use the cheat 'make sim leave' on those random Sims coming out of the woodwork at every venue. Doing that helps
but it does break the immersion factor. I've used MCCC to keep the randoms from showing up as much, but it still irks me. Are these Sims so lonely and have nothing else to do they look for an active Sim just to have a way to fill their time? These group chats are kinda worthless because as someone stated, it doesn't build friendship. If it doesn't build friendships with strangers, thus opening the door for a relationship, why have it at all in the game. It makes zero sense to me. If I were in a public place and got mobbed by strangers for no reason, I'd freak out and leave. I'm all for a casual friendly chat while waiting in line at a grocery store, but to be mobbed by an entire group of people all talking at once? Yikes.
