I would much rather have the maid or butler collect it. Or even leave it as chores for the kids to do around the house. It has bugged me for the longest time but it seems like such an easy thing to fix.

If anyone knows of any mods please share. I haven't found one that actually stops them from getting up from the table.

Sims are so neat in this game they all clean up behind themselves and neighbors come take out my trash, they make their own beds, mop floors. Which is a really nice thing in real life but in game it makes the butlers and maids useless. My maid was getting paid to do nothing so I fired her lol.

Btw they do this even though I keep autonomy off which makes it even more frustrating lol

I don't get that at all. Do you have mods that might influence it? I have full autonomy and have to order one to clean up every time. I make a Sim lay the table and make them all "sit together" and that keeps them from getting up for some time.

If you want to stop neighbours in the house just lock the doors so they can't come in.
