The content of the politisim and news channel on TS4 are just too funny to ignore. I've noticed sim politics are pretty weird. First there are werewolfs, ghosts, and a man dressed as a llama running for office. Then the werewolf bites the llama man. Then one of the candidates won the election and then they dance. That is a pretty wacky politics system.I know the news channel has some pretty eccentric stuff, but I don't have that info on the top of my head right now.Hopefully you can have a good laugh from this.

I never concentrate on the TV channels etc.However, didn't Maxis destroy TVs and video games by (on purpose) distorting the picture when we fast forward gameplay.It was a rotten thing to do and it masks what is on our Sims' screens which might pull us out of fast forwarding gameplay.Poor decision Maxis - another poor decision.

I always watch the channels, they're hilarious! The Lazytown spoof show on the Kids tv drives me insane though! Simder is brilliant.

In TS3, you could just turn on the tv and leave it. In TS4, you can only have the tv on if there is a sim actively watching it. Must have been programmed by a tree-hugger. That is a joke.

However, didn't Maxis destroy TVs and video games by (on purpose) distorting the picture when we fast forward gameplay.

It was a rotten thing to do and it masks what is on our Sims' screens which might pull us out of fast forwarding gameplay.

Poor decision Maxis - another poor decision.

I noticed and I hate that. There is no reason for that. They didn't do that in TS2 and TS3.

No way... lazytown! That was a childhood favorite for me. I am starting up the game right now.

I haven't really focused on their TV programming. Now, I may have to just to witness, for myself, what you have reported. Thanks for the heads-up.

I didn't get to lazytown yet. My young adult sims kept getting bored and leaving. I don't really blame them if they have to watch dancing superheroes and clowns.

I've been watching their TVs too. I think they use sims 3 sims/worlds/graphics.

I love watching Sim TV. It is pretty funny. I used to watch it in Sims 3 and Sims 2 LOL. I have to admit Sim 4 has the best Sim TV probably because they are using Sims 3 and there is a lot you can do with that game for story telling. They have a fake Seinfeld show on one of the channels.
