Poor design choice for laundry machine

That person did contradict themselves because she basically says that they didnt want to work on extra animations. All I have to say is that Sims 3 had top loading washers and kids cant use this stacked so dont use the kid excuse anymore.

How would you open the washer and dryer if they were stacked, if one was to be opened at the top? You'd have to get rid of the stacking system, which is a cool idea. I wouldn't want to get rid of it just to have a top loaded tumble dryer, specially when were I live they are frontloaded anyway.

Well, as someone who did not use the "kid excuse", all I can say is: What's the issue with front loaders? Obviously both exist IRL. And when has laundry become such a serious matter? Still sounds like a joke to me ...

Yeah, it seems to be another joke post, come to think of it.
That said I do know that top loaders still exist in the US, and also with a weird design that i can't really understand how it works (sideways lying down drum).
On the other hand, as I said, I don't know a single Korean, Japanese or European brand that manufactures anything but front loaders since at least 1980.

I don't think he does. If there is a set amount of resources for animations then they're just allocating those animations to give us the best pack possible within budget constraints.

Basically this. They have a set budget just like any business.

Instead of spending all their time animating a top loader, which is just cosmetic, they decided to use that to animate children using laundry, and they are now stackable since they arent top loaders.

So its the same amount of work, since they saved time on not doing top loaders they were able to use that time on other things. How is that contradictory?

Indeed. They seem to have prioritized correctly. Besides, stackable machines is the norm and it's great it's possible.

So where you live its front loaded but not where i live so that's kinda screwed up for me and people who have the top loading ones. Kinda ignorant for you to say it works for you so screw everyone else.

So you all keep saying what's the problem with front loaders. So what's the problem with top loaders? This is a post about fucking laundry, my god. I see why i always sign off for months because of sassy attitudes on here. I said I was getting the pack but I wasn't a fan of them being lazy but using the IDENTICAL design for both machines. But I'm over this now. You people are to ignorant for me to converse with anymore. Have fun stacking.

Yes! And I actually do like the design of them, though I think they look a bit too wide, much like every oversized object on TS4.

My only pet peeve is the clothes line, there's not a modern looking one.
