Statistically speaking, you'd have to have the lottery happen hundreds of times to get decent numbers to compare. Anything less than that, even if it looks like there's a pattern, there's not enough data to say for sure.
I guess it’s just that I have about 20 played families, so it was weird that the ones I wasn’t currently playing never won. I think I had the lottery happen at least ten times.
