I never thought about this. I guess that is how I have always played. I played a lot of themed worlds and Sims had to behave and dress particular ways in the older games. I guess I did set up households in the worlds of TS4 to remain true to the worlds they lived in, in my mind. Because Nancy Landgraab really wouldn't fit in a farming world would she? So, yeah if I had Cottage Living for instance, yeah, the only people living there would be farmers. Dr. Who can live anywhere, lol, but yeah, some of my themed Sims would have to live in a particular world and because they are themed it would mean I would throw out Maxis premades etc. and replace them with other themed households. So, yeah, I guess I have been preserving the culture of my worlds since at least TS2, but not so much in TS1.
