Princess Cordelia.

I came on the forums to make a thread to stitch together the whole lore from Henford-on-Bagley to Random items in the basegame. Does anyone know of somewhere where I can read the full Princess Cordelia lore?

Search youtube, there is at least one video focusing on the life and person of Princess Cordelia.

Originally I couldn't care about the upcoming pack. Weddings? Ok, sure. It wasn't faeries or anything. But now that I've decided that Tartosa is the land Princess Cordelia and her family reigned over before the Great Sloth Invasion I have to get it. Last time I played I went through BB and pulled out as many things as I could find that include the Princess's backstory in its flavor text. I have a lot full of random furniture lol. What about you?

Sounds fun! :) I like the lore, so I implemented Cordelia in my huge family tree, I played her as a child in Sims Medieval, but except from the cottage I did not trace her all movements. She also affected on the building of some of the Britechester university builds, probably at the time when she resided in Henford, I imagine they are not far apart.

Wow, that's what I just did. I collected all of Princesses Cordelia's objects from the Base. It took a bit of time, but I figured out what her decor likes are. It's the French Galley & Queen Anne. She also likes Jazz music, painting, handiness, writing, piano, dancing, singing, flower arranging & has a weakness for Pirates.
I made her with these likes & skills. I then made her soulmate, Captain Rodrigo De Pablo with the Kleptomanic & Clumsy trait. As well as some other skills & traits. They are saved in the Gallery as Cordelia & Rodrigo on my username SEREFRAS.
Just fair warning, I made Rodrigo a very handsome Pirate. It's kind of my habit with the male sims. ;)

My princess Cordelia will be here soon. I'm still hunting good princess CC and pirate clothes. What is the Great Sloth Invasion? I have only played with this household once. I really want to find out as much as I can about her.

Oh I adore Sims Medieval, that's such a smart idea. I like to think she was studying at the University back in it's early years while residing in the cottage, watching the rabbits run around as she did her schoolwork. But what did she study...hmmm.

I didn't notice French Galley, that's a good eye! I'll have to add that when I get back on and edit her likes and dislikes, mine came from the gallery and is slightly modified with CC replacements and a more modest, timely outfit. Her eyeshadow was so sparkly, which is what a Princess deserves but isn't exactly realistic. My Rodrigo comes from the same gallery household, and I'm not sure whether or not to have him live with her in Henford-On-Bagly, or have them reconnect when she returns to Tartosa. I have the other two pirates as well, but since they've broken up I might end up just deleting them. She also likes crabs but I'm not sure how to implement that. :D

The Great Sloth Invasion was a very large, very old attack that took place, as far as I can tell, roughly 200 years or so before the time Sims 4 is sent. I don't think it's mentioned in any other sims game, and it's said that it took many lives. Princess Cordelia was lucky to escape her homeland, and many of the items that mention her detail what she couldn't take with her. It's so very sad. As far as princess CC, she'd probably be dressed in Georgian or maybe Victorian, depending, clothing. Finding clothes for the decades challenge has always been the hardest part for me, besides sticking with it, so I wish you good luck!

I'm not sure this is based in fact at all but I feel like her favorite color is periwinkle. It feels right.

My next step after I put the finishing touches on her household, cottage, and creating some royals to party with, is figuring out what if any iconic Sims families would have ancestors tracing that far back. The Goth's oldest official relative is probably ~two generations ahead of her, while the Landgraabs are ~1 with Admiral Landgraab, but his origins are suspect.

I took the Maxis Cordelia and her crew from The Gallery and reimagined them in a Steampunk Pirate ship dropped into Brindleton Bay by a time warp.

That's epic! Brindleton bay is a great spot for them. How are they adapting to the new society? Are there enough pirates around for our Princess nowadays? :p

They seem to be finding all the townie Spellcasters in my game. Not sure what that means, but I’m keeping an eye on it.
