Problem Joining Wildfangs

I do not guarantee that this will work in your particular set of circumstances, but it did the trick for a similar save I created to test it:

In this order:

traits.equip_trait trait_WerewolfPackB
traits.equip_trait trait_WerewolfPackB_Member

Then take the sim to the trailer at the Wildfangs hangout. If it works, that sim should be able to claim pack leadership by clicking on it.

If you don't want that sim to remain alpha of the Wildfangs, once you claim alpha you can entrust leadership to another, such as a "resurrected" Rory (once you've made her a pack member.)

I appreciate this and will give it a try. I think I know what happened to mess it up. I was playing with a famous sim and got so tired of all the fans, etc. I used MCC to delete all homeless. It must have taken her out, too. I will give your suggestion a try and let you know if it worked.

PS I used your cheat today, and my sim is now the Wildfangs Alpha! It worked beautifully. Thank you for all of your help, Steve!

Quite welcome! There really should be a means of reviving a pack built into the game if something like this should happen. Maybe a small quest or something?

A quest for a pack leader sounds like a great idea. They can make it a scenario. If you choose the scenario, the pack leader disappears until you find them - either pack leader! I barely played with werewolves until now. It was a lot of fun!
