As a heads up, you should also be careful with child sims too, because losing teeth will mess with their genetics, even when they’re in their child stage. Whenever something happens with teeth, their nose and facial features get smaller and scrunch up, producing a weird looking child/teen. So even if you fix your sim’s tooth, their genetics will be a little messed up and they’ll have a scrunched up face.
So far, I’m simply saving all my children to my library when they turn into infants using MCCC to paste the correct genetics onto them once they age up into a teen.
