There is no comma. This Business Activity sets autonomy for Horses - they will play with Horse Balls and use Horse Obstacles. Humanoid Customers on the lot will interact with Horses according to Business Activities that change humanoid Sim autonomy (such as Be Friendly or Care for Pets). Employees will also interact with Horses according to Employee Tasks.
Thanks for all the info! Does this mean there is no "Ride Horses" activity for Sims? Is it possible to teach the horse riding skill?
Apparently there were difficulties implementing Horse Riding Mentoring interactions (likely because it's a living Sim, not an object), but you can give/attend free Lectures and give/attend Classes via the Hobby Whiteboard for a more "theory-based" learning experience. (Note: Classes will ask you to Mentor Sims during them, likely as a Customer too, so I think the code was copy-pasted across skills. You can ignore that task, do the Lecture part and the various social tasks and still get paid. Might be harder to get Gold though.)
Additionally, if you use Care for Animals/Care for Ranch Animals Business activities, then Customers can also gain Horse Riding skill via caring for/socialising with Horses on the lot, if they need it. This also helps keep multiple animals happy at once. For the Horse Skills, you can use the Horses Play and Learn Business Activity to encourage ball/obstacle use.Got it, thank you! 😊
I've been trying to figure this out too. My Sim can give a class in horse riding, but so far there's no riding on the ranch; it's more like a petting zoo. Which has been fine (all the animals get taken care of by visitors very well!), but I was hoping for some riding or training, so I'm still experimenting with settings.
You can add Horses Play and Learn for the Horses to use balls/obstacles, but afaik there's no way to get Sims on their Horses unless you use a mod of some kind, like Control Any Sim, perhaps?
