You have to join the career first, it's listed under Active Careers. Once you join, you click the button in the Career panel to get new gigs. If this isn't showing you may have an outdated mod that effects the UI. I know that freelance gigs can also be accessed via phone and computer, so maybe try that?

The new items show under various Décor Styles. If you want to know for specific items the only way to tell is to check the build catalogue in game. Show all objects then use the build Style filters one at a time to see which category things fall under.

It's been suggested to the Gurus to add style tags in item descriptions.

You have to remember that the gig preferences are a mix of everyone in the household, but they don't tell you everything. If you spend the time to learn everyone's Likes/Dislikes as individual you might discover why they hated it.

The gig Likes/Dislikes are mix drawn from everyone in the household. Someone Dislikes Green while another sim Likes Green. With colour and décor preferences you can ask the sims to suggest another colour or style. The alternative is to just avoid using Green.

You have to click on the first piece you placed in the configuration to move everything as this is the "parent" object.

No. There are 4 modular pieces with clothes rails and these are the only pieces the clothes snap to. To find them search "Modular" in the catalogue.

I have, that's the issue I'm' having. When I move the shelves that are already stacked by holding the parent object it doesn't react to holding the alt key, i can move them with alt individually only. I also am not able to move the whole sofa made out of pieces, but in this case no parent is highlighted so I don't know if it's by design (a bit of a bummer if it is by design.)

Pity that the clothes racks can't be places without the rails objects, thank you for letting me know!

I don't think sofas have parent objects, but haven't tested them as much.

As to moving the shelving with Alt... The only way I've seen this done so far is to move the first piece into position with Alt, and then add the rest of the pieces. Similar to this video:

Hello, I bought the pack today and I just finished redecorating a clients apartment. I took before photos and didn't realize that it didn't check that off my list. So now that I finished redecorating, I can't call the client back because it seems like the before/after photos are glitching. I've tried to re-take them, but it doesn't check it off my list. I'm stuck, any help is appreciated!

I can't get any gigs because it keeps telling me that my sim needs to increase her skill level. How can she if she can't get a single gig at all? I don't know what to do.

I don't get the option to pick gigs. I've started 2 new games and neither of them have given me the option. I've switched to freelancer and the little briefcase thingy shows up but not for interior decorator.

I now know there are big glitches and some just broken... the new career needs to be fixed, some gigs they just give you what they don't like, some don't have anything... I even tried going into CAS to look at the like and dislike for them and I was right, then there are additions gigs are broken... just don't work at all..
