• What exactly the pack offers especially in these areas and if there are any issues with the performance of these features.
- I find the detective and scientist careers the most fun. Detective is great since you can investigate crime scenes, identify and arrest a perpetrator, and interrogate them. You can also go on neighborhood watcb/patrol. There is a bug with the scientist career and maybe seasons? I cannot for the life of me get the plants in that building to grow. Maybe there's a workaround or it's just me. Retail offers a lot of fun opportunities for stores but I find the way it functions maddening. The multitasking and forever conversations can make it challenging to actually make a sale sometimes.
• How much impact the illness system will have, or if there is an option to turn it off.
- No option to turn it off unless you use mods. But it has little impact it usually just changes moods. Occasionally sims might get colorful rashes. You can combat illness with sleep, water, and tea. If you buy medicine from the computer your sim is cured immediately.
• How frequent alien abductions are and if there is a way to avoid them.
- They are very very very rare. I've only had one natural abduction that I wasn't trying for (and that sim was already an alien lol). He didn't end up pregnant, and there's an option to send the baby back to their home world if you don't want to raise them. Aftwr doing this I believe you can never get the kid back.
• If there are any major bugs and glitches with Get to Work.
- see above with the scientist career and retail. Though retail is more of a design flaw than a bug or glitch. I did have an issue with human forms not saving for aliens and always changing randomly when in CAS but that seems to have gone away.
• Will an alien and a mermaid having a baby cause any glitches?
- Not sure, I don't have IL!
