- I believe your played Sims can ask to be the flower pal. I remember that option coming up for my sim when she was talking with an engaged sim. Not sure if friendship has to be at a certain level.
- GirafHuntr3 years agoSeasoned AceThey could ask to be in the wedding party and if the relationship is high enough the ask could be accepted, but you can't actually attend the wedding of an unplayed household. You would have to be playing them to make the event happen. It's not like the birthday party invites you can get sometimes for NPCs.
- simsimsere3 years agoSeasoned AceYou might be able to attend the wedding, not sure if being a flower pal would play out. I'm saying this because I have first scheduled a dinner party with one household and then attended with the other. You have to mark down when the event is and be at the correct lot when it's scheduled. The event will start and your sim will attend. I'm pretty sure it would all be a mess with weddings though, way more complicated than a dinner party!

Yes I don't get this. Why would they add an option for your sims to ask to be flower girl, maid of honor etc if they can't actually be if you're not playing that family. Prehaps it's a bug or an overlook.- GirafHuntr3 years agoSeasoned Ace

I assume that it's really intended for using between multiple played households. If I play the three adult children in different households and one of them is getting married, and I also play her high maintenance sister, I can have the sister ask to be the Sim of Honor. LOL. Then when I switch back to the sim getting married, the sister's already there in the wedding event. - You can also ask someone to be your flower pal/sim of honor weeks after your wedding has happened. Not sure how that one works.

Or years later. A lot of my older married couples still have these options. I think that's a glitch but it might be because of the renewal of vows option that exists. "GirafHuntr;c-18111601" wrote:

Ohh that would make sense actually.
There is a bug report open for it though, here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-MWS-Wedding-Story-Conversation-Topics-for-Married-Sims/m-p/11371864/- My sim was invited to an NPC's Wedding. Will this wedding event happen?

I think I heard on the forums somewhere that the wedding will never happen if it’s an NPC Wedding, and that you will have to control the NPC family who is having the wedding for the wedding to even happen, If I’m remembering correctly…? Unless they have updated or changed since the last Wedding patch.
