Question about new update "Gender Preference"???

In the new patch, in the patch notes there's a note that says "Gender Preference now affects flirt options". Was there a new gender preference feature added? Was there one the whole time? I'm so confu...

No, its not something you can set in CAS as far as I can tell, and from what I've read from other threads on the forum, its a preference your sim gains as you play, so if your sim flirts more with females then it will be easier to successfully flirt with females, if your sim flirts more with males the more they flirt with males the easier it'll be to woo them with your sims flirty skills of seduction.
