Question about Self-Care Specialist's "Maintain a Regular Customer"

Are there any consequences or cooldown periods for just spamming several "Hand Massage" sessions in a row? Will the customer get angry or be more likely to refuse to pay? (And does it not count towards the requirement for 10 sessions if they refuse to pay?) I admit, this one is kind of a pain, because there's no way to keep track of how many sessions you've given a customer. Servicing customers using the Wellness skill already seems to be kind of glitchy.

  • I believe there is a cool down but can't remember what it is.

There was a glitch at one time. Not sure if it's been fixed.

Thank you! Do you have any tips for Maintaining Harmony from the Inner Peace Aspiration? The best I can think of are getting the Carefree reward trait and constantly feeding him Happiness Potions, but I'm hoping there's a better alternative to the latter. It's going to take long enough getting enough Aspiration Points for Carefree.
  • This article might help.

    Maintain Harmony
Try to keep a clear mind! Go 48 hours without getting Angry, Tense, Scared, Embarrassed or Uncomfortable.

This is the most difficult part of the aspiration. Even good-natured Sims tends to get tense or embarrassed every now and then. Here are some tips to help keep your Sim balanced long enough:

Thank you! You've been so helpful!
  • I managed to complete the aspirations and used a mod to fix the aspiration.

Even if you don't use mods, the info here is useful. For the regular customer you need to give them 10 services with a cool down of 18 hours. So if you tend to the same sim once a day, roughly at the same time each day, you should complete it. I started a club with my sim and the 'target' customer to call him over to the spa. I don't know if that is really necessary but it worked for me.

I personally found it very useful to try to have happiness buffs active to overcome potential negative buffs. If you have a +2 happiness, you can take a +1 uncomfortable buff without immediately becoming uncomfortable.
    - take a bath soak: lavender or milk and honey, both give for +2 happiness for 8 hours. Once the timer runs out you can take a new bath to get it back
    - drink tea : green tea gives a +2 happiness for 4 hours
    - eat fruit out of their inventory +1 happiness
Also keeping their needs up is essential and stay away from potential enemies.

    Wow, thank you so much!

I ended up cheating the final requirement because it was giving me a headache and I didn't realize there was an 18-hour cooldown period...Once I did learn, I was too impatient at that point.

But the help you gave is still extremely useful! Thanks!
