Question about splicing since the gardening patch

So, I know that since the update, getting things from spliced plants is a lot rarer (like...so rare, it's basically not worth the effort lol), but I was wondering if anyone had any idea whether it's b...

Seasons didn't mess up my gardening. The patch before it did. Gardening and searching for the plants used to be fun for me. I have given up on the gardening aspiration, I just have my sims garden for fun if they like the outdoors. I will have to try fishing in more spots to see how that goes.
