Question About Upcoming Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack ?

With this new upcoming expansion pack Businesses & Hobbies for example, if we add shops from the gallery, like a clothing store, will it work like a regular business store? Even if we don't manage it...

I do wish EA would confirm how small businesses will work whwen not playing the owner. It is essential to our planning re the new pack.
