Question: Do unplayed sims steal from open vaults on their own?

I have made it so that all excess world funds from Sims that I don't play with are deposited in an open vault in a museum. Is there a chance that the game will allow an unplayed sim to steal from the ...

@iamoz96 I actually don't care if the funds are compromised, I just wondered if unplayed sims could possibly steal from it at will. I'll try to see if I can test it some kinda way.
