Question for anyone who plays a home in Brindleton Bay

Do you get ANY visitors? I really like the way it looks and such, and the secluded feel is nice...to a point. But I'm playing on the tiny little 20x20 lot that sits on the eastern coast in Cavalier Co...

I've been playing a sim living at Tail's End for seemingly forever (doing a rags to riches - vet challenge that required a 5 star vet clinic). Other than the welcome wagon, the only times my sim got unannounced visitors: Vlad (before she got her dog) and when she got a boyfriend. Then he would come by periodically. Otherwise, nothing.
