Question: Is there a way to get a kleptomaniac Sim to return stolen property on demand?

I have a club of criminals and I held a gathering the other day. Come to find out...one of the members stole my laptop and my computer desk chair lol. I have no clue which one it is but that's part of the fun. I don't want to manually control each of them to check their inventory as some are in unplayed/unfavorited households. Is there a way that I can get them to return the stolen goods? Is there a moodlet that I can cultivate at a party to get them to return what was stolen? Is there a better method perhaps to accomplish this otherwise?
