Question on the Sims 4 Movie Hangout Stuff Pack

This pack was released Jan 12, 2016. The primary feature of this pack was what . . . that's right, watching movies. The pack was bugged shortly after release and has yet to be fixed. The bug occurs...

For me it used to work right, but ever since the patch before Eco, or Eco itself ( can't recall which but was arounfld the 2) I can no longer have watching a movie complete.
