Bug fixes take time and money . . . what the heck kind of comment is that? A bug is a flaw in their product, their product vastly influences their reputation. By leaving bugs in a game you are directly and NEGATIVELY impacting your profit, reputation... basically your entire company.
Yeah bug fixes take time and money, a good bug fixing dev team shouldn't take any longer then a few days worth of isolation and coding to fix the average bug. It's code, it's not sending an astronaut to space. Hell you think days is to high an expectation, I disagree but give em a month!!! Most of the bugs linger in the game forever, the only conclusion is they aren't keeping enough Dev's working ONLY on bugs. If you can't release expansion packs and patch your existing game then you should STOP RELEASING EXPANSIONS until the bugs are fixed. This is very basic stuff that dozens and dozens of competent developers already do, I'm just asking Sims 4 to follow suit.
