I have just started playing with RTF myself. I've had sacrificial's mods in my game, my favorite is the slow dance and passionate romance.
But I wanted a little fame in lieu of not able to have Get Famous yet.

I think my favorite is professional singing but I love them all! I have not had a Stan yet or really have gotten all that famous just tried out some of the functions.
Getting a million followers is tough! But it is gonna be worth it!

Road to Fame IS amazing. I have it coupled with GF. The only drawback is that GF doesn't seem to recognize the music industry. We need a mod that will give us the Simmy Awards, for instance.
I should add that I believe the Stan comes with GF. What you'll get in RTF is Obsessed Fan(s). They are a hoot.As for reaching that magic number, I've just achieved it twice. I think I've played Erik so many times that I stumbled upon the secret. The latest version of RTF allows you to enable one or both of GF celebrity systems and that of RTF. I use both. I also make sure to use the autonomous option on Simstagram, acting and modeling. Erik loves his fans and is often snapping Selfies and posting them. He's got his own home studio on the top floor of the Wright Way house, which can be downloaded, too, under modded. He sits down at the video desk and responds to his fans, too. He writes lyrics via RTF, records them and checks his hit points. He also takes his drone, George, along with him and live-streams any chance he gets to perform in public. This will increase the points and the number of followers. I've also used MCCC to help him start off with skills. I played this family having all of the children born in game, but that save was very old and eventually became corrupted. Since then, I saved the family as it is so restarts aren't as tedious. He's capped out in charisma. While a child Sim he managed to cap out singing, too. So I give him that, since he actually earned it the old-fashioned way. I gave him a boost in modeling, because I have fun with the magazine cover photo shoots. His writing skills are also capped out. He's a musical genius, but I start him at level 7 or 8 on guitar, so he still has room to grow.
