Are you talking about this? The avatar that shows up in the corner when you are viewing the gallery from your browser, as opposed to viewing it from within the game?

That's just your Origin avatar. You can set it or change it from you account page in Origin.
EDIT: It seems I was wrong. I changed my Origin avatar and the change was not reflected on the new gallery web page.
