Hi! The creator of the thread looking into it here! Though I haven't updated the list because I fear that the spoiler tags might mess it up.
The Sim Characteristics compatibility takes into account 3 things:
- Sim's traits (both personality and reward traits)
- Sim's lifestyles
- Sim's Activity Likes (these tend to add one point)
So yeah, kind of.
It is usual for characteristic's traits to add (or remove if disliked) 3 points and take away (or add if disliked) 1 point from opposing traits. The point ranges are mostly correct, though Amazing is 6 and up while Awful is -6 and less.
My list is the best list I can offer you at the moment. Due to forum issues I haven't updated it, but the good news is that only Horse Lover is missing from Pet Enthusiasts category. In addition, I will show the latest updates on the characteristics in that thread too, so stay tuned.
