Random ash piles?

I think they are not bugs but ash piles since they came in the Dec. patch (?) in the one where Sims get dirty smudges etc. I thought that was a nice touch because you can see dirt smudges near the door the Sims go in and out etc. I actually liked that part of the patch. I think it is a new feature and not a bug because employees will have to clean something won't they when the GTW EP is released. :#

It's not dirty dishes, I hope the gurus don't remove it, but wish these Sims were more 'aware' their house is dirty. What's the point of dirt if they don't care? I like to make my Sims suffer... >:) No, not all, o.k about ninety percent. >:)

i mean if it's a game feature that the developers added in an update I'll be fine with that, and if it is a feature, can we please sweep it up instead of just picking it up with a trash bag lol. i mean i am the one simmer who wants my sims to vacuum and mow the lawn and do laundry so yeah lol

Did you have any repairs? Those leave a pile of stuff too.

It's a bug, Ive seen people ask for help a few times. Pop over to the bugs section and I'm sure they'll help you :)

no its smaller than the usual repair pile. besides my whole house has been upgraded fully so nothing breaks. the pile looks like a ant mound, you know kinda tall and small, i don't have a problem with it since my sims can actually throw them away. i just want to know if its new feature

Someone was speculating that it was from dirty plates left out too long.

ETA: And yes, I've only been reading about it recently.

Huh. So that thing I read where if you put a rug just inside the door, they'll wipe their feet on it. (I can't believe I forgot that last time I played! I was going to put rugs all over!) I wonder if that would make a difference?

I also had them occasionally ...
but I doubt that it would be dirty plates that are left outside for too long ...
I rarely have dishes being left unwashed for more than a few hours ...
there´s always a Sim who has enough time to do these chores.

Nevertheless I also occasionally noticed ash piles on the ground or on surfaces

Are the trashcans overloaded? I'm just asking
