It actually isn't a human trait. Humanity has quite a different definition: " compassionate, sympathetic, or generous behavior or disposition : the quality or state of being humane"

I was actually talking about this with a friend that works in the gaming industry which I call the Sims complex ironically. Like how people are trying to control others like they do their Sims which is basically the god complex: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_complex. People can't be controlled, they have free will and many struggle with that concept that free will only applies to them and not to others, that their rights only matter and no one else matters. It is like humanity is going away from society and people are expected to be perfect little robots instead of being human.
