Re: Do you normally create a version of your own family?
Exactly! 😂 Although my dog does happen to be a Labrador she's on the short side I'd say, just like me 😂 I wouldn't be put off of a large dog anyway as they're usually big sweet things, sometimes the little ones are the worst! 😂 They look small, cute, and unaggressive but underneath all that is an aggressive big dog hiding inside. A lot like Chihuahuas, as you said. 😂 Rottweilers could never mess with a Chihuahua on a bad day. 😂 All the Great Danes I've ever seen have been placid sweethearts, compared to fiery Chihuahua's 🤣
Nothing wrong with saying straight laced, I say worse expressions. But as I said, I do act like a stereotypical Grandma. 😂
I don't think I would talk in a mix of caps and no caps 😂 it was supposed to be an expression of true incompetence as a mage, as I would be. 😅🤣 I'd be just walking around jamming to bardcore and doing spells whenever I felt like it, I'd just go to a tavern to introduce the locals to bardcore classics like, Aqua - Barbie Girl [Medieval Style Cover] - YouTube. And make the realm's national anthem this Thomas the Tank Engine Theme Tune | Medieval Folk / Bardcore - YouTube. Me being such a scheming Witch. 😂
The reason I knew is because she has red hair! 😂 I think a lot of players where swayed by that, Lol. And the fact you meet her first, plus, she's in the two previous games so players that just played the games but haven't read the books felt more connected to her. 😄 I actually had a really tough time choosing between Yennefer and Triss when I knew nothing about them but their game demeanors. I think Triss's character bio is so accurate when it says she's charming and warm, because she is. Yennefer on the other hand is not the easiest to work out at first. Plus some other characters you might notice aren't keen on her, that's because she never shows her real self to anybody but Geralt and Ciri. Other than with them she has a bit of a barrier up.
Yennefer is actually insecure but puts up a bravado. But with Triss she's bubbly and extroverted, unlike Yennefer. Which is why you'll see the some characters like Triss more than they do Yennefer, other than Ciri of course, as she sees Yennefer as her Mother. Ciri also likes Triss though, but sees her more as a Sister.
Geralt loses his memory in TW1 and doesn't remember anything. So when Triss finds him he only knows what she tells him, which she doesn't tell him anything about Yennefer and Ciri existing until TW2. When she finally tells him about Ciri but doesn't tell the entire truth about Yennefer and their relationship. She makes out it was a toxic relationship, when in truth it wasn't. She just knew if she told him everything he'd leave her and try to find Yennefer And Ciri (Which he inevitably does). In the end she develops more confidence (just like in the books.) and chooses to tell him the full truth when helping him recover his memory with a rose that can be used with magic to recover memories. So I think overall she's actually great, but is very human with feelings, so she makes "mistakes" which I personally think is understandable, not that some of Team Yennefer do. 😂
And I played TW3 before I read anything, or saw anything from the other games, I went into TW3 knowing absolutely nothing, which I think is the best way IMO! Simply because I liked finding out as I went along, sometimes I was confused at some references, but just googled it. 😂
In DAI I found it really funny how my Inquisitor completely ignores her mans advice every time! 😂 Cullen's like "Hey, you know the templars are cool, you should think about siding with them." and my Inquisitor is like "Naw Maggeess, K." I just downloaded some mods to give my elven girly some nice new outfits too, people will start thinking closing the rift is her last priority. 😅😂
