I’ve gotten over my Empty Nest over 5 years ago. It took me almost 3 years to get over it when my daughter moved out @ the age of 20. She’s now 28 & a Fur Momma to 2 kitties. I now like having my own space & forgotten what that was like.
My daughter got married at 18. I never really suffered from the
Empty Nest thing. At least not consciously, but I did cry like a baby when my Sims2 Sims' daughter moved out. LOL Go figure. I did go through a period of two and a half years, wherein random people in my personal sphere died, starting with my Dad. I buried myself in my game.
