Even being a business grad that doesn't sit well with me. Just comes off as a charity case and like a scam especially with those prices. Like seriously can make more money just doing art on Twitch for different channels for $60+ an emote. I know an actual professional that can help grow a Twitch channel for a fraction of that cost and he runs his own review site and does his own art. I mean I know the Tweet was deleted but nothing is forever gone from the internet and honestly that just tarnished any respect I had for them selling themselves out as cheaply like that as a content creator. There are times when someone's sense of false pride can ruin their reputation and this is just another example of that which is sad to see. Oh well they'll be forgotten like all the other Simmers that have had bad business practices with their content and trying to profit off of other content which is one of the shadiest copyright acts I've seen. Why just not why go the patron or go fund me route. This just shows, paying your followers with free giveaways all the time is not a solid long term way of keeping them. Seen as desperate by any real content creator on any social media outlet. Plus those followers tend to unfollow you once you run out of free gifts, so those false followers really aren't worth it. My advice leave it to the PR professionals to grow content. They go to college and university for it and are probably licensed and insured if anything goes wrong. It is like giving your tax information to a random person on the streets that knows nothing about preparing taxes and ends up stealing your identity.
