Edit: I am not really surprised though because I had the sense he was more about merchandising than a genuine love for the sims. If you start your video selling me lemon mugs etc, yeah I am not going to watch anymore and I don't.
I noticed that too since he is always putting down the games rarely saying anything positive while pushing out merchandise. The only reason why I hadn't unfollowed yet is that I entered the contest.
I am not surprised though with all the game changers and popular YouTubers. It is kind unfair they are the ones that gets all the rewards, invites, early access and free stuff when they don't even seem to like the game or seem appreciative of all the actual privileges that they get. They get their voices heard and I feel like us regular players get ignored.
Technically people aren't supposed to make money off of mods either. They only allow for mods to be sold on patreon for two weeks then has to release for free to the public; but too many people still get away with it and I heard some made quite a bit of money doing so. Some paid sites actually steal mods.
