Welcome to the world of social media where anyone can become a star and with enough followers, subscribers and viewers, no one needs to work at a real job. I find his tactics deplorable, and in direct contrast to what the Sims community stands for. EA started this trend as soon as they created the Game Changer program then put a heavy emphasis on social media in the Sims4. It was only a matter of time before someone decided it was a good idea to take money from modders and CC creators in order to line their pockets, so my advice is to walk away from his channel. Especially when he is hyping Paralives to the max, and has obviously stepped away from promoting Sims4. I highly doubt he will remain a Game Changer for long because of this, and was one of the reasons why he was not included in Sims Camp. I subscribe to a couple of gamers who have their own channels on Twitch, because I am always looking for tips on how to be a better PUBg player. Yes, I love multi-player shooter games. Plus I donate to several modders and CC creators through Patreon. I find nothing wrong with doing that. But to ask modders and CC creators to advertise their creations through his channel for a fee? It clearly proves he is greedy, and does not care about Sims4. Sims4 is an afterthought in his plan to profit from the hard work of others.
