Realm of Magic Announcement & Release?
I predict that Realm of Magic will be announced either on September 3 or September 10 with release date of either September 17 or September 24.
A teaser for the pack should come out September 2 or September 9.
This is based on some facts:
- Since Dine Out, game packs on PC are ALWAYS announced and released on Tuesdays (I have done my research), with a teaser GIF on Monday the day before.
- Theres always a two week gap between game pack announcement and release (with the exception of StrangerVille, which was one week)
- October 9 is the deadline for the “six months” period given that the pack will come out (April 9 was that livestream)
- The Sims team ALWAYS time releases by financial quarters to recognize their revenue. They must never delay a release into the next quarter, or EA will not be happy!
This quarter (July-September) means that end of September is the latest time they have to release the pack. The next quarter (October - December) is always reserved for an expansion (money money money!) Delaying the pack until early October means that they will miss this quarter’s revenue, so end of September is the most probable release time.
- Finally they always leave a bit of a gap between releases (we just got Moschino Stuff!) so an August announcement is probably not happening.
