it's just projection. Harry potter has magic, therefore everything involving magic reminds the harry potter fans of it. I agree that there's no connection and the guy in the trailer looks nothing like Newt from Fantastic Beasts as people have been saying. Not even an interesting Sim to look at. But as always people will just see what they wanna see, so it doesn't matter
