I'm done with the event, it actually got me to play a household for a bit longer to pursue some goals which I liked, I think there could have been some more unique sims apart from grim but it was nice that we had a lot of options in how to play. I never bothered romancing grim but i did become best friends with him. I played the event with the same household, the BFF household. I didn't really go for a gothic theme or anything like that but it was nice to play with them for a bit. The rewards were nice too.
My main critique is probably that making ambrosia is not anything new... but the addition of grim and the rewards did still make the event fun to play.

Sort of silly way it was "new" to me.. as I never ever cooked it before, or even really knew it existed. I mean, I did know-know it was in game , but never even tried to find out how to make it.
Yeah, I'd never made it either. Plus so many new players were probably not even aware it was a thing.
