They would get a lot more positivity and engagement if they just gave things like this in free updates before the packs.
Sims 4 isn't the type of game people play consistently, and for many fans who like to collect all the content, missing events could actually turn them off bothering to keep up with that.
The objects look great but... er? That'll leave an even more bitter taste for the people who miss out.
The opposite is also true when people participate and unlock irrelevant rewards.
For example Daz3D give freebies every week but at the end it's a ton of content that I will never use. I mean if it was sold nobody would buy it.
I hope event rewards won't follow this path.
I'm not interested in collecting any random low quality item.
