Recommend Sims4?

Hey everyone! I have been playing The Sims Mobile for almost a year, but I’ve run into a lot of bugs-especially with in-app purchases not working. I have paid for items and never received them, and customer service has been little to no help. I am thinking about switching to The Sims 4, but I would love to hear from those of you who play it. Is it worth the switch? How does the game work for you and does customer service actually respond when there are issues? Are there a ton of Bugs?

  • 1007204488045I'd agree, it's worth trying because the base game is free. To your question about bugs, though, it is buggy and they are demonstrating they're working on that. There's lots you could read about here on the forums if you wanted to, but again I'd say try it and see how you feel it compares to The Sims Mobile for you.

  • Nothing preventing you fom playing both unless the mobile just isn't working as it should anymore.

Base game is free. So, that's already a plus. And you're not so limited on mobile as you would on the PC game with wait times and good for longer play when you're at home. So you're not really losing out if you decide you don't care for the PC game if you uninstall.

  • I enjoy Sims 4 and as you add more packs, choosing the gameplay you enjoy, you have so many options for your sims! I bought packs for my daughter as her Sims 2 was getting old, and she refused to try anything but her Sims 2. She got a new laptop and was upset, at first, that she couldn't play Sims 2. She started playing Sims 4 and is really enjoying it! She loves family play and there is so much in the game that you can enjoy with that style of play. I bought the upgraded Sims 2 for her birthday but she is enjoying her Sims 4 so much she doesn't want to try it yet. She told me the Sims 4 offers so much more in gameplay and things that the sims can do that she is really enjoying it! I enjoy my games as well, though I haven't had a lot of time to play. I play both family style and occults, and love both. There are bugs but, as others have stated, they do recognize them and try to fix them.

  • With base game being free I don't think it would hurt to give it a try and see if you like it :)

Or you could try TS1 or TS2 rereleases if TS4 feels bit much to get into at this point 😅

Buggies? Yes very much. but we are all just running around with Flyswatters and enjoying the party regardless 😂

I never got into mobile games myself so I don't really know if its more or less than though

Like others have said, with the basegame free you might as well just try it. Things do get a lot more fun when you get some packs/expansions though.

Bugs are part of the sims, they always have been. It's just such a complex game. I've not been too badly affected over the years though. Using mods and to a lesser extent CC can often cause more issues, but they also make the game a lot more fun so I live with the downsides.

  • As others have said the base game is free so you can give it a try. While a lot of the DLC is fun, I would always recommend to get acquainted with the base game before you decide if you want to put money into it. The base game in itself has quite a bit to offer IMHO.

Bugs are unfortunately part of the game. I am experiencing a few small ones but unfortunately there are simmers out there with games that are almost unplayable.
