- djsboonie4 years agoSeasoned Ace@NRowe I don't know if you can recover a deleted save but if you saved the lot or downloaded it from the gallery then it should be in your library. You may need to redo the house/lot to how you had it, though.
Edit: even the sims should be in your library. - moppy14w4 years agoSeasoned AceThanks a bunch @Starfree Unfortunately I was letting my perfectionism get the better of me... I thought I'd backed up my latest renovation to the Gallery as usual, but turns out I haven't!! :s
Took several hours too. And as much as there is rolling back to auto-backups and all; this apparently doesn't work for deleting from the Menu. So looks like I killed it. :'( Probably time to grieve a little and move on... - SweetieWright_844 years agoSeasoned AceHave you looked in your The Sims 4>Saves folder? Maybe there is a copy/backup in there.

This . . . - ck2134 years agoLegendhttps://youtu.be/0igTmVE_gK8
This seems useful, but I really hate that static sound effect she uses in transitions. :s - moppy14w4 years agoSeasoned AceThanks very much folks. I checked the saves folder and recycle bin (with desperation at the time too). Unfortunately it’s gone. Thinking of another new project now…

I'm sorry to hear it. But hopefully this next project will be even more fun :). - Jayel-14 years agoSeasoned AceThat's a shame NRowe. It's an awful lot of wasted time and effort on something you probably enjoyed and loved making.
I thought that delete button on the main menu was dangerously close to the play button.
I hadn't updated for nearly 2 years, and when I saw that I wondered how easy it could be to hit delete instead of play.
I'm assuming you have to confirm delete before it is whisked away?
Also, has the option to play and earlier saved game still there? - ck2134 years agoLegend

I will take this as a sign to back up my own game.
On the bright side, I've have restarted from loses and found the rebuilding is better than what I had. :) - KLoxxon4 years agoRising Veteran

I agree they are dangerously close and I don't know why those buttons are not placed further apart. I'm always really careful because it would be so easy to click delete by mistake. I've no idea whether you have to confirm delete because I've never risked testing it. Perhaps someone who knows can reassure us that it's a two-click action to delete a save?
