Phone Animation Replaced with Listening Animation

Block Phone Dialog While Silenced - when you set mute on your Sims' cellphones all incoming calls are blocked.

The autonomous phone use drives me insane. It ruins first person mode and looks so stupid. Since apparently some people want this in their game, I wish there was a way to turn it off for the rest of us (on console too).

The recent “fix” for this really didn’t do anything to reduce it, at least not that I’ve noticed.

I just updated the mod today to exclude autonomous taking photos of champion horses.

I'm glad there are mods for players that use them. I've been wishing there was a disable option in the game for years. I have a Sim who lives like it's the 1890's and being off the grid at home, she rarely uses her phone because there aren't many options. But as soon as she steps off her lot she pulls it out and starts doing stuff like taking selfies. Although disabling the phone use altogether would necessitate adding things like landlines, newspapers, maybe letter writing etc. And that sort of thing probably isn't high up on the list.

I fear if there were a toggle it wouldn't work properly. They'd probably forget to include some of the many many autonomous phone interactions. Still I think there is enough people who'd use it to have EA try to implement it.

Thank you. Have downloaded, soon to install. Hopefully the inevitable updates won't mess with it too badly.

I play on console. I really wish there was some type of toggle for phone use. I would gladly purchase a kit or stuff pack that included the toggle and whatever necessary items would be needed to replace the cell phone.
