I just tested again. Only the names of the premades were reset at some point. The calientes still had the other hairstyles and skintones given by me. The goths were still spellcasters, which is what I changed about them. The sages took a little longer than usual to arrive at the magic realm but looked as I intended them to look in their NPC role. I redid their names in my last play session and they were as I wanted them to be after loading up the game again. So they did not revert back again.
As these are the only characters I edited, I am not too troubled atm. I just hope this won't happen with every update because I think that was when they got messed up.
I will have to do that too and need to look up the necessary traits for sages if the changing names will be a recurring problem.

wow- I wonder if Keidra or Kellogg_J_Kellogg or others who play with heavily modified premades are having this issue?
I am playing almost all premades right now but I haven't changed them in CAS. Just regular aging and gameplay developments. Haven't noticed anything odd.
If you mean Ezio, he's not built off Morgyn. As in, I didn't just grab Morgyn, do a makeover, and end up with Ezio, he was created as a separate Sim, thus the game wouldn't recognise him as a Morgyn clone.
I do this with all premade Sims I play heavily.
I will have to do that too and need to look up the necessary traits for sages if the changing names will be a recurring problem.
