Is there any way to remove the lot traits on the apartments? I know some are removable on the prebuilt apartments at Myshuno, but some like historic, I can't seem to remove it. I really hate the plaqu...

You can always place a picture over the plaque with MOO.
I find a sim-painted canvas, sized up once, is thick enough to cover the plaque.
You could also build walls around it, and make it into a chimney breast or accent wall.
