Removing fame

If a sim has Notable Newcomer (decreased it down to that but it will not let me decrease further) and they have the Celebrity Aspiration, how can you remove notable newcomer so they have 0 fame? My sim is a mermaid and she has to either meet another one she likes or meet a human to turn to a mermaid so she can marry and begin the next generation of the family. She really likes this sim and he is ALWAYS over (staying for a couple days at a time before he leaves) but I can only allow them to be together if he has no fame. Any ideas? I use MCCC but even it would not let me decrease further, and I tried looking into cheats and buffs listed on him and could not seem to find the one I need to remove.

    If your sim has celebrity perks, you'll have to book a celebrity cleanse (via cellphone) and then opt out of fame through the perks and quirks menu. If there are no perks, you can just opt out of fame without having to do the celebrity cleanse.

    I thin k that if you play the sim for a couple days without doing anything fame related, it will drop further, meaning no stars. But yes, the cleanse should do it.

    The cleanse did work, however he now acts like he doesn't like her lol, so I readded his fame, on to find next one lol
